Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO) has become an important strategic practice that helps organizations improve efficiency, reduce costs, access specialized expertise, and focus on core business activities. This study examines the impact of HR outsourcing on organizational performance in the manufacturing sector of Pakistan. The research investigates HR outsourcing adoption, commonly outsourced HR functions, reasons for outsourcing, and its effects on organizational performance. A quantitative research approach was adopted, and data was collected through a structured questionnaire from 200 manufacturing organizations representing different industries. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques, including frequency, percentage, graphical, and comparative analysis. The findings indicate that HR outsourcing is widely adopted, particularly for recruitment, payroll, employee verification, and administrative HR activities. Cost reduction was identified as the major reason for outsourcing, followed by access to expertise, improved efficiency, and strategic HR focus. The study concludes that selective HR outsourcing positively contributes to organizational performance by reducing administrative workload, improving HR efficiency, and supporting competitive advantage. However, challenges such as loss of control, confidentiality risks, and vendor dependency require effective management. The study provides practical insights for HR managers and organizational leaders regarding effective implementation of HR outsourcing strategies in the manufacturing sector.
